Pickup from Batu/Malang & Tumpak Sewu Canyon Exploration
Your private English-speaking driver meets you at your Batu villa or Malang hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned SUV. Drive through scenic southern highland ridges to Lumajang (approx. 2.5 hours). Marvel at the panoramic viewpoint of Tumpak Sewu with Mount Semeru rising behind. Next, descend into the canyon base accompanied by your licensed trekking guide, crossing crystalline river streams to reach the canyon floor and Goa Tetes droplet cave. Enjoy local Indonesian lunch before driving to your lodge near Mount Bromo for rest.
Bromo Golden Sunrise, Sea of Sand & Crater Rim Hike
Early wake-up call at 03:00 AM. Board your private 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser and navigate through the Sea of Sand up to Penanjakan or King Kong Hill. Watch the sunrise illuminate Bromo, Batok, and erupting Semeru. Descend to the Sea of Sand, cross to Poten Hindu temple, and hike (or optional pony ride) to the crater rim. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and hot shower, then transfer back to your hotel in Batu or Malang.
